Dear LEE and friends :

RICK ADAMS here, Host of RBN'S 'UNCENSORED RADIO FREE AMERICA' thanking LEE for the machine. I was and am still taking a number of wholistic nutrients orally from vitamins, to minerals, to amino acids to herbs and spices. I have been in relatively good health though about 10 years ago i had had cardiac myopathy and congestive heart problems.I recovered well thanks to JESUS CHRIST and a nutritional regimen as well as exercize.

Yet i have had a bout with diabetes over the last few years and i have found that LEE'S marvelous energy cleaner has addressed my pancreas to the point of not having the problems of digestion and high blood sugar.It works best for me when i sleep with it through the night .I notice a greater energy level, rosier complexion and a big difference in pain from neuropathy that i was getting from time to time.

I have used the energy cleaner with the energy blanket for almost 3 months, in this time period I noticed how refreshed I was when I awoke. My wife was skeptical, we found out she was pregnant soon after we received the blanket. She was beginning to get growing pains of the pregnancy and I noticed the nights she slept on the blanket, she woke up in a very relaxed mood! I have talked to Lee Crock with the Energy Lodge now for a while. And Lee was nice enough to send me one of his energy cleaner with the energy blanket. For those who don't know, I have a lower back problem, where it tightens up and causes a sharp pain, where I would have to pop my back, which we all know is not good for you. Since i've been using the energy blanket my lower back has seen major improvements! I can actually sleep or sit up straight comfortably without my lower back giving me trouble. I highly recommend trying the energy blanket, cause it has helped me.

My friend Diana went to your lodge and then she came here for a visit. She left her Energy Cleaner here with me to use for a while. I have COPD which in my case is severe. I have been diagnosed with a touch of emphysema, and asthma. The Dr. said my lung capacity is about 13%.

Well, as soon as I started sleeping on the screen, hooked up to the energy cleaner I started sleeping long deep hours of sleep. Since I am on prednisone that is not usually the case. My thinking began to clear up. I had been having problems remembering things. Two weeks after I started sleeping on the screen my husband and I went to a family reunion. It was a nice clear day so I decided to try taking my oxygen off for a while. Well, I ended up not wearing the oxygen most of the day! We were so surprised and happy. All the family could hardly believe it. I take the oxygen off every once in a while to see how much progress I have made. Indoor air is a little harder on me as my asthma has a lot to do with household products, especially anything scented, but we can go to our relatives houses now and stay for a good long while without my having trouble breathing. That is a really big deal for us!!!

There is improvement in my health in general. More energy, better appetite, less need for inhalers and a better outlook on life in general. I am scheduled for another pulmonary function test in 2 months, which is Jan 4, 2005, and I am walking 30min. a day and stretching a band to strengthen my arms.. Hoping to increase lung capacity. I was starting to feel old at age 62, was tired all the time, overweight and had backaches and hip problems. Six months ago Lee Crock's Energy Cleaner advertisement in Nexus Magazine caught my eye, and I ordered one.

From the first night of sleeping on the copper cloth 9 ft. mattress pad, to now, I have not had another backache.

Update:

Last month I sent you my testimonial on 6 months continued successful use of the Energy Cleaner. This month I'd like to share with you how the Energy Cleaner is helping my body heal itself after a high impact car crash I was in recently. Another car ran through a stop sign onto a busy highway and crashed into my car, totaling it and sending me briefly to the hospital.

My most pressing injury was to right wrist and hand,, due to the time element Wrist needed repair within first 2 weeks after trauma because it apparently starts knitting on its own after that. Except in my case, there was no wrist left to repair, it was destroyed and nerves to fingers damaged or destroyed as well. Cat scan proved the condition inoperable. Swelling and numbness was a problem. After a month, because condition unimproved, orthopaedic surgeon said nothing else could be done other than physical therapy and closed my case.

Then I bought the copper cloth bonnet listed in your book. The bonnet fit comfortably over the hand, was long enough to cover wrist ending just below it. It had a large enough opening to make it quick and easy to slip on and off whenever I had to get up.

I used it nearly around the clock for the next several days, even strapping the Energy Cleaner to belt to waist so could keep hand in bonnet getting continuous feed of energy while I did one handed chores. The swelling immediately began to go down for the first time, one month after the accident. The bonnet was the only thing that controlled swelling. However, whenever the hand did have to be out of the bonnet the swelling returned.

So, experimenting again, I stapled two 10 x 54 copper cloths together to form one 20 x 54, and wrapped this "cocoon" around the entire injured area, fingers to elbow, and that did the trick. The swelling went down and never came back.

Proxcimity of the Energy Cleaner pads to the injured site seems to be important, at least in my case, because even though I was sleeping as usual on coppercloth bed pad every night after the accident, there still was swelling and so forth. It wasn't until coppercloth bonnet was applied to hand, in addition to sleeping on the 9 ft bed pad, that hand swelling reduced. And it wasn't until the elbow-to-fingers 'cocoon' arm wrap was applied that swelling finally stopped.

As a Reiki Master I very well know the importance of energy in our lives. Myself I have been suffering a low of low energy levels, a fact that has blocked my from using my full capacity of getting things done without been tired. Even when I slept 8 full hours at night, be 2 mm I was feeling so tired that I wanted to sleep again in order to operate properly in the evening. Thank you for your cheery welcome while we stayed at your Lodge. You are very generous and hospitable.

I want to thank you for the experience of using your energy cleaner. While staying at your Lodge and using the energy cleaner, I had a major shift in my cranial bones, which were similar, if not the same, as having Cranial Sacral Therapy done. After the shift in my skull, my thoughts are clearer and I feel better all around. I woke up each morning with out being stiff and sore. I noticed also that the circulation in my legs had improved.

On the trip there and back home again, we sat on the energy cleaner in the truck. When we stopped to get gas or at a rest stop, we all noticed that none of us were sore or stiff from the long drive. We did not have to move around a bit before we could start walking around.

Since I have returned home I put the energy cleaner on my grandmothers bed. She has two major wounds to her shins, just above the ankles, where she had fallen up some stairs. These wounds appear to be healing faster than before the energy cleaner was placed on her bed. She is experiencing a great deal of itching in both legs around the wound site. In the past she has also had a great deal of problems with edema in both of her ankles. The edema is decreasing.

Love to Dance

I am 70 years old and had the aches and pains a 70 year old has from the stress of a working man. I got the energy cleaner Feb. 09, 2004 and started to sleep on it. To my pleasure it removed all my aches, pain and soreness. It was a miracle on how good I felt. There was a dance last Saturday night. So in the afternoon I wrapped the stimulation pad around my chest and set down. Dear Mr. Crock:

For most of my adult life (over 30 years, maybe even longer) I have suffered with a condition of a blocked saliva gland. Anyone who has this knows how extremely painful this condition is. In my case, until I could pass the stone, my face would be so swollen it made it impossible to try to eat any type of food. I could barely swallow a few liquids such as water, soup broth, etc. This would last anywhere from a few days to a couple of weeks. Sometimes, if I was lucky, I could feel the stone and be able to work it out myself. Other times, I had to go to my Ear, Nose & Throat doctor and he would make a small incision in my mouth to get the stone out . This has happened so frequently for me that I had developed scar tissue in the saliva canal. For years, every time I sat down for a meal, or grabbed a snack, I had to massage the gland (located by the jaw and ear area) work it so that while I was eating it would not get hard and then start to swell up. I always felt a little embarrassed if I was at a restaurant or with someone who didn’t know about my condition. I never fully enjoyed the simple pleasure of eating and not having to worry if my face would blow up like a balloon.

About a month ago, I had one of the worst "episodes" I ever had to go through. My face had swollen so badly that when I looked into the mirror, I hardly recognized myself. And the pain was absolutely unbearable! It was so bad that I couldn’t even make the trip into the city to see my ear, nose & throat specialist but instead went to our medical clinic in town. I could tell the staff, the nurses and even the doctor had never before seen such a swollen face as bad as mine. The doctor did try to examine me but my face was so swollen I could hardly open my mouth. She prescribed an antibiotic and a powerful pain pill and told me it would take some time before the swelling could go down. I went home and for the next couple of days I took the antibiotic but the pain was so bad I was first taking the pain pills every 4 hours, then sooner than 4 hours, then doubling up on the pills. In fact, in my tired mind, I knew I was eating these pain pills like candy but I was absolutely at the end of my rope. My face was swollen, my eyes were all red and swollen from crying, I couldn’t eat, I just laid there wondering why God was doing this to me. My poor husband, who was doing all that he could to make me comfortable, suggested to me why don’t I just try the Energy Cleaner Machine. "It just might help with the pain", he said.

I knew I couldn’t stay on the pain pills (I had taken so many I was afraid I could get hooked on them), at that point I was willing to try anything. My husband took a sheet of aluminum foil and attached it to the Energy Cleaner. I was laying down on the sofa and he put the foil on the swollen area and told me to just lay there with my hand on top of it. I did this so gently and in a few minutes, probably feeling the effect of the pain pills, I had fallen asleep. I stayed this way for a good 2 hours all the while the Energy Cleaner Machine was doing its job. Later on, in the evening, I again used the Energy Cleaner for another 1 to 1 ½ hours.

The second time I thought I had felt "something" move around a little but I wasn’t sure. On the third time, I put the foil on my face but this time I could only have it on there for about 10 minutes before I told my husband "the heat, it’s so hot I can’t handle it". It was just a couple of hours later I was sitting up gently massaging my face when I felt a stone getting ready to pop out into my mouth. I got up went into the bathroom and before I knew it, I was spitting out stones like a Pez dispenser. Stone after stone kept coming. I couldn’t hardly believe it. He also told us that if this had been in the kidney, I would’ve required surgery especially because of the quantity and of the size.

While he was examining me in his office, 3 more stones came out. That made a grand total of 30 stones, not counting the ones I had lost down the drain in my bathroom. It came with such a force, it reminded me of a cork popping off a champagne bottle and the champagne spilling out everywhere. It was really an amazing sight to see stone after stone "exploding" out of my mouth. I’ll never forget that experience as long as I live. I began learning about energy about twenty years ago. It seemed very wondrous to me.
I started exploring different avenues. Finding one energy and many different ways in which to use it.
First using what I called universal energy. The energy would begin to flow through my hands then it would become warm, warmer and then hot when using it on a person. The energy would stay hot for awhile then it would begin cooling down until you could feel a shift in the energy. It would seem to do nothing for a few minutes, then begin again to build until it was hot. Cooling off again heating up and repeating this cycle as long as it flowed through my hand. This feels so good to people receiving that it seems like minutes to them and you may have been working one or two hours on them. The majority of people I have worked this process on love it. It has often left me very tired. The energy was not only moving through me but a part of my own energy would be caught up in the cycle plus what ever they were receiving this energy for would also be moving through me often leaving me very tired.
When I finished working on the person I would then clean my own energy field up. This continued for several years. I then learned of Reiki. Found a Reiki master and began my training. To become a Reiki master you pass through three levels. Reiki I, Reiki II and Reiki Master. It is only at the master level you can teach others how to use reiki as there are symbols that you must be pass from the master to the student. I am schooled in Dr. Mikao Usui's method.
It began this way:
Dr. Mikao Usui taught the Christian religion in Japan. His students came to him saying you teach us all of this and still we cannot heal like Jesus did. Why? Dr. Usui said I don't know, resigned his teaching position and began traveling from one location to another seeking the secrets to heal as Jesus did. After several years he became discouraged for he found nothing. He went to the top of a mountain to fast and pray hoping to learn to heal like Jesus did. Day after day went by and nothing occurred. Everyday he placed a stone in a pile making a stack to keep track of how many days he had been there. On the 21st day he placed his stone on the stack saying his prayers he decided to leave as nothing had happened. As he stood up light surround him and filled his body. His mind was filled with symbols along with the message to go forward and heal. He ran down the mountain side to a place that served food. The owners daughter had a toothache and he laid his hands on her and the pain went away. When you receive the Reiki symbols the energy moves through the symbols and you are not using or mixing your energy with the reiki energy.
With either of these forms of energy because we are human beings and since it goes through you it only lasts as long as we do, and in making that statement what I am says is I get tired. I am not able to run energy 24 x 7. It is not humanly possible for me. I thought wouldn't it be nice if there was a machine that could run the same kind of energy that comes through my hands and dismissed it. A friend told me about Lee Crock's website. I thoroughly read through his website thinking this is what I was hoping for, a machine that produces the same form of energy as my hands. Could this really be? At that time I was living in New Mexico. I called and talked to Lee who was very enchanting on the phone. His description of how god had given him instructions on how to build this machine was amazing. Several months later I came to the lodge and found this man to be all he seemed to be and more. I enjoyed each and every minute I spent with him and his wife Bonnie. You might say the time spent at the lodge was magical. Besides that it was really fun.
I arrived and Lee's friendly assistant showed me my room, the machine, pads, how to hook it up and the bath with the Fountain of Youth which you fill up with water, drop in the wire pad and enjoy. We visited awhile and she left. I wanted to try the Fountain of Youth right away. I filled the tub, hooked the wire to the machine, dropped the wire into the water got in and after the long drive began to relax right away. Enjoying the water with my senses wire open anticipating what would happen and wondering at the same time if anything would happen. Something did happen, in fact something totally unexpected happened. There I lay enjoying the water when I began to notice movement in the air around me. My energy field was in motion. It had to be the energy cleaner it could be nothing else. I had never before seen the aura field in motion. As I was noticing that I began to see "things" in the aura, things I had never seen before. I was fascinated as I watched what appeared to be smoky energy in different shapes and size moving out of my energy. There were dense dots, smoky looking things even dots that appeared to be cells, at least they looked like that drifting out of my sight. In my twenty years of working with energy I had never seen anything like this. I continued to watch these things in my aura disappearing. I seemed to be mesmerized in a way I couldn't believe my eyes. When the water got cold I got out. In the next 48 hours I took 4 more bathes. The 2nd bath produced almost as much bad debris as the first with each bath there after the garbage in the aura field became less. I am very excited. Everyone should come to the lodge and enjoy the wonderful beings named Lee and Bonnie Crock. Try the crock machine, make you own decision. You can use energy 24 -7 and never get tired. January 2003 I was told I had “MND-Motor Neuron Disease” or “ALS” by 2 neurologists, one in Pittsburgh, Pa & one at the Cleveland clinic. The neurologist at the Cleveland Clinic told me to go home and take vitamin C, vitamin E, Q10 and if I wanted I could take Creatine. That’s all the entire medical world had to offer!!! At the time I had slurred speech (sometimes) & had lost the fine motor skills in my fingers.

Since I wasn’t offered any cure or hope my husband began his constant research on holistic/alternative ways to cure or at least stop the progression of the disease.

We have visited holistic/alternative doctors & practitioners in NY, NJ, IN, & Ohio searching for help.

In the fall of 2003 I had all of my mercury (amalgam) fillings removed. Then in December I had 4 root canalled teeth removed. To this date I continue down the path of a full dental reversal, removing all mercury & metal from my mouth. April 2004 I had 4 crowns lifted and the mercury removed from underneath them. Soon all the remaining metal will be removed and the reconstruction phase will begin with tested compatible materials.

January 2004 we found an alternate practitioner who is working with me to stop this horrible disease. The big thing we are working on is detoxifying the body of the mercury and other heavy metals that had accumulated in my body over the years. He has me taking lots of vitamins/supplements plus I am taking Vitamin IV’s & Chelation IV’s every 3 weeks.

We have purchased an Infra Red Sauna, which is supposed to be excellent for detoxifying the body, which I use once a day. My daily routine is to take 30 to 40 vitamins/supplements a day followed by an early evening 1 hr massage by my husband and 20 minutes in the sauna. I also make weekly visits to a chiropractor and have gone for 5 colon hydrotherapy treatments to date.

We have also purchased and use a Super Zapper (Hulda Clark) and a frequency generator, experimenting with both Clark & Rife frequencies to rid my body of parasites & viruses.

At the present my speech is slurred, my hand are weak, lack fine motor skills in my hands and my legs are weak (but no pain).

On the 16th of July 2004 we went to Lee Crock’s “Energy Lodge” to try his Energy Cleaner. While at the lodge I have used it with the Fountain of Youth with a submerged screen hooked up to a energy cleaner. I have either been sitting with pads on me or bathing my entire stay at Lee’s Energy Lodge-which has been 3 days. I certainly can’t say I’m cured but I have seen some hope that it could be working. A little over a month ago, my friend Therman convinced me to look into the Lee Crock Energy Cleaner device. With much skepticism and a little electrical knowledge, I put together some batteries as Therman said. Manning the trusty egg timer, my wife called off the minutes as I sat on a screen. The next morning, I knew that my hard head and skepticism had cost me weeks of pain relief. I will not go into the meds I was taking, but only to say that two types of pain medicine were in use at little or no avail. Not to mention that my mental attitude had changed for the worse toward family and friends. The attitude change is a little thing the doctors do not tell you about when they give pain meds. I had one of your Energy Cleaners for over a month and use it every night. It is wonderful. I sleep better when using it and my muscles are more relaxed and far less sore in the morning. I also have a peaceful feeling when lying on the large pad which I keep under my sheet.
My feet have hurt for 35 years no matter what shoes I wore and I wore a lot of them trying to find a pair that helped, none did. I have had my energy cleaner for almost a month now. Amazing. I have polycythemia, didn't expect much help if any. Was unable to walk to the bathroom, more like bouncing off the walls screaming with each step I was forced to take. I can actually walk upright like a real human being now. On July 27-1994 I was in an accident crushing my skull leaving my right eye left in a stationary, unmovable position, looking inward with no movement in any direction. My husband's aged 65 and since July 2003 has had a history of brain haemorrhages and strokes. As a result he suffers with short memory loss. The brain haemorrhages have also left him suffering from seizures. Whilst seizures normally do not do any damage - with him they increase the short term memory loss even to the extent I have had to teach him how to shave and dress a number of times.
On 19th March, my husband had a seizure. When he has a seizure it affects his mental state. His memory becomes very poor i.e. dressing - wearing two pair of trousers or t-shirt; unable to do anything right - putting things in the wrong place, using the wrong tools etc; can't be left on his own as he tries to cook and leaves the gas stove on without lighting the gas. These are just a few of the symptoms he displays. It takes two months usually before he does anything approaching normality. I was really upset at this set-back and couldn't wait for the machine to arrive.
However, after using the machine for about three nights - the difference was amazing. I could leave him on his own for an hour and he became easy to handle. His memory was much better - in fact he was as good mentally as before he had his seizure. As I said it normally takes two months for him to reach this stage.

His arthritic pain has certainly decreased, although not disappeared. He became arthritic because he was on Zantac for about twenty years. All his joints are corroded - but the pain has certainly decreased.
I am a therapist and for years have been treating him with various complementary therapies for arthritis, resulting in him refusing treatments. The beauty of this therapy is that he doesn't realize that he is being treated. I have also noted that he is not in as much pain as usual.
Since I sent the last e-mail to you he has improved tremendously. He is still very dyspraxic and dysphasic, but his memory has improved and he is displaying signs of common sense. I have suffered sciatic pain for over 15 years. Sometimes for weeks on end the throbbing would start just as I lay down in bed. I have a testimony of the energy cleaner. I started using it around the beginning of August but I was in and out of town so my use was not consistent. Now that I am using it every day, I am seeing results. I purchased the Energy Cleaner for one reason, to help reduce the size of my prostate, reduce my PSA score, and help my frequent urination problem. I am happy to report that my PSA level is down more than a point, my urine flow has increased significantly and frequent urination problems have gone away. I do have a testimony that you definitely feel different when the energy is flowing. I notice this when sitting in the bathtub especially. Because I already had high energy, there was no dramatic change except for one thing. In the past there were times when I did feel a little tired though they were rare. Those tired feelings have definitely been reduced in frequency and magnitude(only when I have had a lack of sleep combined with a lot of physical and emotional activity and then only rarely). I have been using my Energy Cleaner for about a month now and have noticed changes, but I have late stage Lyme Disease and it is one tough disease to get rid of. I really do not expect much for a few more months. I am sleeping like a log. I have been taking sleeping medication for 16 years and one morning I woke up and found all the pills on the floor. I had not taken them and I slept like a log. Cognitive dysfunction is a major problem and I had not noticed I did not take them.
We all know about the placebo effect, so I always notice the animals. I have a small Cockatiel by the name of Rambo, who is a tougher customer than his namesake. He weighs 70 grams (about 1/7 of a pound) but he is absolutely fearless. He let me rub his head (a big accomplishment) and was so sweet. This went on for about five days. He was so sweet. Then for some reason, I didn't get him in here and he is back to his mean, biting self again. I think it is a better testament when you are using animals because they have no pre-conceived notions about what is happening. My cat is spending more time in my bed also.
For the last year or so, I have been having so much trouble with my outer ears. I would wake up during the night scratching them furiously and they were always scabby. To those who suffer from Crohn's colitis:
Thirty days ago I was introduced to the Energy Cleaner. After almost 15 years struggling with fistulizing Crohn's Colitis I no longer have abdominal cramping, rectal burning and itching, and diarrhea. It didn't happen overnight and I have a ways to go yet, but I am definitely experiencing noticeable improvement.
I had mercury fillings removed a year ago, and have incorporated fermented foods into my diet. About four months ago I got Polarpower seat and bed grids upon which I sat and slept. I was gradually healing during that period and was able to get off chemotherapy.

On November 9, 2004 I had a stroke and was paralyzed on the right side with no movement in my arm or leg. I couldn't talk or swallow. My journey to Lee Crock's Energy Center in Caldwell, Ohio began on March 5, 2007. My husband, Lou, woke up at 3:00 in the morning - unable to sleep because of the sounds of 'freight trains' that kept going over the house. "I don't know how we're going to get down there, Kristine," he said. I sat there at the kitchen table looking out the patio door and watching the snow devils spin around the top of the deck. "Here comes another," he said. "Can you hear it?" The wind comes off lake Michigan in waves, and one was breaking right over the top of our house - sounding like a freight train as it passed over. I checked and rechecked the weather on the internet, and the results came up the same every time: wind - 25 to 30 miles an hour - and snow from Ludington, Michigan to Caldwell, Ohio. If we had to drive 513 miles in that kind of weather, I'd have a nervous breakdown before we got there. And prayer was all we knew to change that situation. So we prayed and went back to sleep for a few more hours before embarking on our journey. "Lord, give us clear skies and smooth sailing." If God wants us to go there, he'll provide the way. And the way we felt - our physical condition - if we didn't get down there today, Monday, we might be dead by Tuesday. Lou was finding it harder and harder to breathe, and Friday night he woke me up with him sitting on the edge of the bed not being able to do just that.

I wasn't able to sleep Saturday night because of my own condition - a condition that flares up on me from time to time. I have a blocked saliva gland that causes my neck and the left side of my face to swell. It's extremely painful, and when I lay down, it only makes it worse. So I sat up all night sipping cold water to lessen the pain. I also have psoriasis on my hands, elbows, knees, and buttocks.

When we woke up from our few more hours of unsettled and needed rest, the sun was starting to come up, and the winds had only died down a little. "Well, we've committed ourselves," Lou said, "So let's go." We were taking our daughter and son-in-law with us, and another couple - friends of ours - were going to follow us down. We all met up at our house and off we went - into the blizzard of wind and snow. And I still knew, in spite of it all, if the Lord wanted us to go, he'd clear the skies - even though the false prophet weathermen forecasted differently. And, as I stated to Lou on the way down to Ohio, The Devil can play with the weather and send a tornado to kill the children of Job, but when an entreaty is sent to God for fair weather, the Devil must sit down.

It was 9:00 before we set off on our 513 mile journey, and we were hoping to get to our destination before dark. I spoke with Lee the night before, and I told him we would hopefully be there between 6:00 and 8:00, if there was no unforseen catastrophy that might take place along the way - such as getting blown off the highway by strong winds and drifting snow. And, by God - yes, by God - by the time we got to the interstate, 25 miles away, the wind had died down and the skies were beginning to clear! Maybe God wants us to go afterall! Yes, I believe he did, because the entire rest of the way there was not one cloud that passed over our heads - even though there were plenty of them in the distance around us. It was absolutely amazing. And I said to Lou, "This is the kind of day when we would say to each other, it's a good day to go for a ride. Praise God!"

As we journeyed farther down into southeastern Ohio, we began to see the land rising up out of the foothills of the Allegheny mountain range. We saw houses, farms, and whole towns nestled in the hills that rose up from either side of interstate 77. It was almost heaven - and almost West Virginia. Watch out for falling rocks, the signs warned. And what a glorious day it turned out to be! But, by the time we got to Canton - about 70 miles north of Caldwell - it was twilight, and we knew we probably wouldn't reach our destination before dark. And we didn't. We promised Lee we would call him when we got close so that he could talk us in the rest of the way. He said he'd be waiting for us, and he was. We passed Mom's Diner (Home Cookin) on 821 south of town and saw a man standing in front of a small store next to a Pepsi machine. We didn't know if we were going in the right direction on this lonely strip of two lane blacktop, so we asked him if we were.

"Do you know where the Energy Center is?" I asked. He pointed in the direction we were going in and said it was just down the road. "Look for the Dog Town sign, he said. "If you come to the interstate, you've gone too far. Turn left at the sign, go up the hill one mile, and you'll be there."

And, by doggy, he was right. It was a twisty and narrow gravel road that led us to the top - the top of a low mountain, or the top of a very big hill? It was hard to tell in the dark. And it was also somewhat eerie to be off into a desolate woody region where a strange, narrow, and gavely road took us up, up, and up into an unknown destination. "Up at the top of the hill," he said. As we rounded a curve in the narrow road, our headlights shined on an old farmhouse. Two more twisty uphill turns and we were there. We pulled right up in front of the Energy Center and were met by six little Jack Russels barking their fool heads off. And nine cats. We knew it was the Energy Center, because the sign on the top of the building - what looked to be a metal pole barn - said so. "Is this the lodge?" Lou asked. Guess we'll find out.

We all piled out of our vehicles - our friends, Leroy and Vickie, from theirs - and we walked up to the door. An old man wearing work clothes greeted us and said, "Come on in." He peered at us with his one good eye and smiled - seemingly happy to see us. But we weren't quite sure yet whether we were happy to be there.

Lee told us he was in an accident that left him in a coma for two weeks, and in the hospital for five months. He suffered from brain damage and the loss of his left eye, but he seemed to have had a remarkable recovery from this horrific accident. And he had the energy - from the way I saw him move - of a man half his age. He also said he was in no pain. He attributed his recovery and regained youth from his invention - a patented invention - he calls an Energy Cleaner. It works on nine D-cell batteries that gives off 4.5 volts and 40 amps - the same as what our body uses. And he also said he has gotten the best results from his invention when its energy is diffused in water. In this case, at the Energy Center, it is a jacuzzi that is used. He calls it the Fountain of Youth.

After Lee gave us a demonstration of his machine, he showed us around the lodge - showing us where the bedrooms were, the bathrooms, the laundry room, and the small kitchenette. Then he took us to the Fountain of Youth. It was a jacuzzi tub in a tiled room, with a life-sized painting of Mother Mary looking on. "Just fill up the tub," he said, "and turn on the jets. Make sure the screen is hanging down in the water, and put this 'pie plate' where you think you need it most." These were both hooked up to the Energy Machine - blinking away - sitting at the edge of the tub.

And, as he left us to fend for ourselves, he told us to have a look around and to read some of the materials he had in stacks sitting around the office. And, once all the snooping and reading was done, it was decided that I should use the Fountain of Youth first. Lee promised me over the phone that he could get rid of my psoriasis in two hours, and everyone was more than curious to see the results.

After twenty minutes of soaking in a wonderfully warm and whirling tub full of water, I noticed the bubbles from the whirlpool were piling up on top of one another instead of disipating in the water. And, when they hit the sides of the tub, they burst, forming a slime just above the waterline that looked like sick lettuce. And I thought, is this coming out of me? After an hour and a half of wiping the slime off the sides of the tub, I decided I couldn't sit there for even one more half an hour. So I got out. And, just as Lee had promised, there wasn't a psoratic piece of skin on my body.

But I can get rid of all my dead skin by soaking in a hot tub for twenty minutes. The only problem with that is water is not good for psoriasis - it dries out the skin and irritates the condition. And, by the next morning, my skin showed it. So I jumped back in the Fountain of Youth the following night to heal the damage that was done the night before. One and a half hours later my skin looked like I had major surgery done on it, with deep crevices oozing blood. And I walked around like a marrionette dangling from its strings - unable to sit, bend, walk, or sleep any too comfortably. "You look like someone tried to kill you with a thousand cuts," Vickie said. And I felt like it. But I always felt like it, since that is the feeling a person with severe psoriasis has. It can be debilatating. And I have tried - over the twelve years that I've had the condition - everything under the sun to cure it. But I've found nothing that will. I've used coal tar, zinc creams, lotions, and sprays, expensive prescription ointments that cost $100 a tube, herbs, potions, and diets - all to no avail. Many of the things I've tried helped to some degree, but even vaseline does that.

Lou, on the other hand, felt great. He said he could breathe better, and his hands didn't feel like two pieces of wood. And they didn't burn and sting anymore. So I figured the bath was helping his circulation and his carpal tunnel. He didn't notice any slime forming on the edge of the tub, so it couldn't have been coming from the water.

Our friend, Vickie, had two bouts of colon cancer in the past, and she knew it had come back on her. Her husband, Leroy, was sitting at the table with a three inch 10 guage wire stuck up his nose - in the opposite nostril of where his tumor was, because he could barely get it in a half an inch in the side where his tumor was growing. It was hooked up to the Energy Cleaner, and he said he could feel a tingling everytime he inserted it. And, everytime the machine recycled from positive to negative, he would have a bout of sneezing. So he figured it must be doing some good for his condition too. But I don't know about me - yet.

Our daughter, Donna, has epilepsy - since she was six years old - and Lee had her put the copper woven bonnet on her head. But she could only keep it on for about ten minutes before she became dizzy and nauseous. The Fountain of Youth didn't bother her in that way, so she was able to stay in for two hours. She also didn't experience a green slime forming around the edges of the tub. For some reason this only happened to Vickie and I.

The following day I spoke with a woman who came into the lodge with her husband to purchase an Energy Cleaner. She said she had varicose veins, poor circulation, and fibromyalgia. I asked her if her condition had improved from her stay at the Center and by using the Energy Cleaner in the Fountain of Youth, and she said it had helped tremendously, and that was why her and her husband were there - to purchase an Energy cleaner. Their next stop was to buy a jacuzzi, she said. And, without any prompting from me, she pointed at a mural on the wall that had bright green grass in the picture. And she said, "That's what came out of me."

That Tuesday evening a man came to stay at the lodge who had skin cancer. It was an awful sight to see. His neck had a wound that resembled a large boil with a sizable hole in its center. And the skin around it was red a puffy. He entered the Fountain of Youth for his two hour soak, and we all went to bed for the night. He was still sleeping when we left the following morning, so we didn't know how he was doing. But we found out, after returning home, that his condition had improved so much that he asked if he could stay for a week. And Lee told him he could stay for as long as he wanted! And he could stay for free!!

On the way home from Caldwell and Lee's Energy Center, we stopped to rest. As we pulled into a parking space, and Leroy and Vickie pulled in next to us, Vickie jumped out of the car all excited, exclaiming that Leroy can breathe out of his nose - something he hadn't been able to do in over seven years! And I told her what had come to me as we were driving home. I was thinking about what Lee told us when he said the negative enegy discharges through the soles of our feet and back into the ground - if we're grounded. And people aren't grounded if they're wearing rubber-soled shoes. He also said it's a good thing to go bare-footed. And I remembered Jesus washing his disciples feet and saying, If your feet are clean, then your whole body will be made clean. I now understood something I could never make sense of before. It must be the negative energy has a harder time discharging through dirty feet. And, if your feet are clean, then the negative energy is able to leave, and the entire body becomes clean. Now I can't wait to get home, wash my feet, and stand barefoot in the dirt. It's time to release that negative energy.

Friday, March 9th: I've been home for two days now, and I'm still stiff and sore - but not as much as I was before. The thousand tiny cuts are healing up quite well, but the psoratic patches are still red and stiff. Lee promised our friends a free Energy Cleaner if they were able to make it to the center, so we are sharing its use. We all went to a friend's house today who has a jacuzzi, and we took turns soaking in the tub with the Energy Cleaner. Lou's hands stopped burning again from his carpal tunnel, and he remarked about how much easier it was to breathe.

Sunday, March 11th: It's a beautiful day with plenty of sunshine. We still have a lot of snow, but there are a few bare spots where the snow was plowed in the driveway. So I walked up and down the drive barefoot twice today. I'm feeling so much better. The redness is leaving my skin, and the psoriasis is actually clearing up! The pain has left Lou's spine and hips, his fingertips are no longer burning from the carpal tunnel, and he has more feeling in his hands. He says he's also breathing a lot better than he was before.

Wednesday, March 14th: My psoriasis is almost gone. I can bend my fingers and elbows now, and it's no longer painful to sit down. The pain and burning had come back into Lou's hands, because he hadn't been using the Energy Cleaner. So he filled a bucket with warm water and put the metal screen attached to the Energy Cleaner down into the water. He soaked his hands for about twenty minutes, and the pain and burning stopped. That evening he soaked in the tub with the Energy Cleaner, and his breathing dramatically improved.

Thursday, March 15: It's the Ides of March, and I feel terrific! I spoke with Lee on the phone today, and he has decided to add a couple of six-man hot tubs to his Fountain of Youth Energy Center. He would like to document the effects of his Energy Cleaner on cancer patients, people with hypertension, and those with Alzheimers disease. He asked me if I would be willing to interview the people, document their recovery process with before, during, and after photographs, and to write about the findings. And I told him I would be happy to do so.
